It was originally written as a ballad by Albert Brumley in 1929, and published in 1932 by the Hartford Music company. The song, like many hymns, has found its way into many genres of music, from country to gospel to New Orleans traditional jazz.<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-family: times new roman, times, serif;font-size: 14pt\">The song is frequently used in worship services by Baptists, Pentecostals, Nazarenes, the Church of Christ, United Church of Christ and many Methodists.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><\/div><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: trebuchet ms, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>[C] One fine morning when this life is over [F] I\u2019ll fly [C] away.<br \/>\n[C] To a land where joys will never end [G] I\u2019ll fly [C] away . . .<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-family: trebuchet ms, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong>{ CHORUS } [C] I\u2019ll fly away, O Glory.
