This is what I dug out from Nevada. The first two lines are fine...\r\nBut C#\/E, C\/Eb etc for the third and fourth lines?\r\nIf you try these chords, they sound pretty weird. C# with an E bass?\r\n \r\n------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\r\nSUGGESTION:\r\n \r\nThere are three things to try to combine.  There is a drone on the 'A' note\r\nthrough each chord which is important, there is a guitar climbdown and\r\nthere is a bass climbdown.\r\n \r\nTry:\r\ne|-----------------------|\r\nB|-8---8-7---7-6---6-5---|\r\nG|-9---9-8---8-7---7-6---|   (following the bass line)\r\nD|-7---7-7---7-7---7-7---|   (both drone\r\nA|-0---0-0---0-0---0-0---|    on the 'A')\r\n \r\nor add another string like this if you prefer it with a higher emphasis:\r\ne|-9---9-8---8-7---7-5---|\r\nB|-8---8-7---7-6---6-5---|\r\nG|-9---9-8---8-7---7-6---|\r\nD|-7---7-7---7-7---7-7---|\r\nA|-0---0-0---0-0---0-0---|\r\n \r\nIf you want that as chords it could be: [ A7  Adim  Dm6  A ] played up around the\r\n7th fret.\r\n \r\n   EADGBE     EADGBE    EADGBE    EADGBE\r\n   x02020     x01313    x00201    x02220\r\n     A7        Adim      Dm6        A\r\n \r\nor as we said above:\r\n \r\n   EADGBE     EADGBE    EADGBE    EADGBE\r\n   x07989     x07878    x07767    x07655\r\n    A7\/E      Adim\/D#    Dm6\/D     A\/C#\r\n \r\nThat fits roughly both with what the guitar is playing as\r\nits climbdown at the same time:\r\n \r\ne|----5------5-------5-------|\r\nB|-8----8-7----7-6-----6-5---|\r\nG|-9----9-8----8-7-----7-6---|\r\nD|---------------------------|\r\nA|---------------------------|\r\nE|---------------------------|\r\n \r\n(that's in principle, the top A drone stretch can't easily be done on one guitar.)\r\n \r\nand the bass climbdown on the bass A string (which is simplified but the idea is there):\r\nA|-7-7--6-6--5-5--4-4--5-5--4-4--2-2--0-\r\n \r\nI really think that line is almost beyond defining as chords as it works because\r\nof the two climbdowns working together with the A.\r\n
