\nBut [G<\/em>]<\/strong> I was shy and couldn’t tell my love,<\/span>

\nI [D7<\/em>]<\/strong> sung a song of Ara-[G7<\/em>]<\/strong>by, [C<\/em>]<\/strong> [C7<\/em>]<\/strong><\/span>
\nI [C<\/em>]<\/strong> told my [G#7<\/em>]<\/strong> baby [G7<\/em>]<\/strong> with the uku-[C<\/em>]<\/strong>lele,<\/span>
\n[D7<\/em>]<\/strong> but she only laughed at [G7<\/em>]<\/strong> me.<\/span>
\nI played it [C<\/em>]<\/strong> soft and sad, she didn’t [G#7<\/em>]<\/strong> care a bit,<\/span>

\nHer hair was brunette type, It [D7<\/em>]<\/strong> had pretty wrinkles like you see in [G7<\/em>]<\/strong> tripe.<\/span>
\nShe’s [C<\/em>]<\/strong> going to [C7<\/em>]<\/strong> have it [F<\/em>]<\/strong> bobbed this [G#7<\/em>]<\/strong> Spring,<\/span>
\nNow [C<\/em>]<\/strong> where will the sparrows nest, [G#7<\/em>]<\/strong> po-[G7<\/em>]<\/strong>or [C<\/em>]<\/strong> things.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nShe [C<\/em>]<\/strong> only wants a white one for a [G#7<\/em>]<\/strong> snoo-[G7<\/em>]<\/strong>ker [C<\/em>]<\/strong> set.<\/span><\/p>\n
