In Penny [C] Lane there is a [Am]  barber showing [Dm] photographs [G7] of ev'ry [C] head he's had the [Am] pleasure to have [C7] known.  And all the [Bm] people that come and [G7]  go stop and say hello.

On the [C] corner is a [Am] banker with a [Dm]  motor car.  [G7]  The little [C] children laugh at [Am] him behind his [C7] back. And the [Bm] banker never wears a  [G7] mac in the [F] pouring rain, very strange.

In Penny [C] Lane the barber [Am]  shaves another [Dm] customer.  [G7]  We see the [C] banker sitting, [Am] waiting for a [C7] trim.  And then the [Bm] fireman rushes in from the pouring [G7]  rain,  [F] very strange.
